February 2nd, 1:00 - til packed: Feeding South Dakota needs help packing the food boxes. Fill the boxes or help behind the line, opening boxes and taking plastic off the flats of cans etc. Stop by about 12:45 to get signed in and find a spot, even if it looks like enough people the work goes better with a lot of help behind the line, and sometimes volunteers need to leave after an hour or so.

RSVP Bake and Basket Sale - Monday February 13th - Sale starts at 9am Donations of baked goods or themed baskets are needed. This is a great fundraiser for RSVP and we have a built in audience as the sale is in the Cafeteria at St. Mary's Healthcare Center. The staff here love your baked goods. So the more the better. Items can be dropped off starting at 8am - come to the rear entrance of the hospital complex (the eye doctor entrance and make your way to the cafeteria). Workers needed to help mark and sell the items - 2 volunteers needed from 8:00 - 10:00 and 2 more from 10:00 - Noon .
Valentines Day - help make or purchase valentines for the Reading Buddies. The program has donated funds to buy supplies to make or purchase some small cards, pencils etc. If you like to shop and put together holiday stuff - give the office a call. Need by February 10th
Books and Baskets: Help fill baskets in waiting rooms at St. Mary's Healthcare Center. We have donated books that need to be filled in waiting rooms in the facility. Set your own day and time to work on this project.
St. Mary's Healthcare Center: Volunteers needed for Patients who sometimes need rides to and from appointments. Valet service to and from front door -if you are interested in either of these give us a call.
Maryhouse: Residents need some friendly visits 11:30-1:15 or after 5:30 pm
Golden Living Center- Bingo caller needed Wednesday's at 2:15 pm Sing along and play piano Friendly Visiting
Parkwood Play Piano over noon hour or at coffee time at 3 pm in facility dining room One or more days a week
Pierre Area Referral: Job #1 Answer phones, greet people and some simple data entry at their office M-F in the afternoon- You pick which day you would like to work
Reading Buddies Programs: The following schools will be matched up with RSVP volunteers for reading with the students. Dates and times will be announced

PILC 9:30-10 Wednesdays
Buchanan Tuesdays 2:15-2:45 2 more volunteers could be used
McKinley---Monday 10:10-10:40 am 2 more volunteers needed

Jefferson - 2nd Grade classes could use some more readers.
Jefferson School Tutor for 2nd Grader: A Student at Jefferson would benefit from some one on one tutoring Any day 11:00-11:25 and M Wed or Thursday at 2:20
Jefferson Kindergarten Tutoring Volunteers are needed at Jefferson School help kindergarten students with their reading. Times and days:

- Thursday 1:00-1:30 Mrs. Becker
- Friday 1:30-2:00 Mrs Strohman
SD Women's Prison PACT house volunteers go out on Saturdays and work with Inmates and visiting children. Alternating months crafts/cooking. Training required and provided by prison staff Looking to build volunteer base there.
