1. Oahe Child Development Center New program "I am learning I am growing"
Volunteer needed to lead physical activity on playground or in multi purpose room- you would lead organized play/excercise for 20 minutes Monday - Thrusday for 20 minutes 9-11 or 1-3.
Mary Kirk would be your supervisor 2. Chamber of Commerce- Oahe Days Oahe Days is June 20-22. On June 21 and 22 the chamber needs some help manning the information booth at Oahe Days. Shifts are available. Your duties to answer questions, hand out flyers and give out maps and directions to enhance visitors experience. Call Julie to sign up for a shift. 3. Cultural Heritage Center Admissions Desk: 9 am - 1 pm or 1 pm to 4:30 pm. Your job: greet people, take the admission fee for entering the museum, tell people a little bit about the museum.
Gift Store: 10 am- 1 pm or 1 pm - 4 pm. sell merchandise in the store, run cash register, stock shelves.
Tour guide- work as requested when group comes in. Tours last one hour and training is available.
Volunteers may work as often as they would like.

Volunteer Coordinator at CHC 4. Headstart Bus monitor- Ride the bus and help the little ones getting on and off. Monday thru Thursday 10:45-12 noon. You would leave from Headstart, ride and route and then you could come back and join them for lunch. 5. SD Braille and Talking Books Library Read newspaper on the air so visually impaired listeners can find out whats in the news.
Slots to fill: Tuesday's 11:30-12 noon and
Friday's 11:00-11:30.
Broadcast from the SD State Library. This would be an ongoing/weekly committment.

RESIDENTS HELP:
Play cards with residents, work on puzzles, assist people with card writing, addressing envelopes etc, take residents for walks outside, opening and reading mail to residents, assist with computer, fingernail painting
INDIRECT RESIDENT JOBS:
putting up holiday decorations, replacing bird seed in bird containers, passing out mail, passing coffee and beverages in dining room, passing plates for meals, passing out and collecting bibs before and after meals. 7. McKinley School Language Tutor One student in 2 nd grade needs a tutor to help her with the phonics program "Voyager". The teacher will have you sit in on another lesson to learn how to use. Day and time to volunteer: Wednesdays 2:30-3:00 McKinley School. Consistency (same volunteer each week) in a volunteer is needed for continued success 8. Peirre Area Referral-Food Pantry Janitorial Work- Mopping and sweeping Once a week. Pantry open Monday- Friday 4-5:30- You can pick which day to help. 9. St. Mary's Linen Services A volunteer is needed to help with folding from 9-11 am. Monday thru Friday you pick the day that works with your schedule. 10.
